What Should I Expect during my Craniosacral Session?
A Craniosacral session is a gentle, deeply relaxing experience designed to calm the nervous system and release physical restrictions.
During Your Session
-
Comfort First: You remain fully clothed. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable attire to allow for total relaxation.
-
The Setting: You will lie comfortably on your back (or stomach) on a padded massage table.
-
The Touch: Using an incredibly light touch, I will assess and release tensions in the fascia (connective tissue) surrounding your brain, spine, and sacrum.
-
The Experience: As restrictions release, you may feel sensations of warmth, tingling, or pulsing. Many clients experience a sense of "expansion," deep relaxation, or even fall into a light sleep.
After The Session:
-
The "Reset": It is common to feel sleepy, deeply tired, or occasionally experience mild soreness as your body integrates the changes.
-
Hydration: Please drink plenty of water following your visit to support your body's natural detoxification and healing processes.
-
Results: While every individual is different, significant results are often felt within 3 to 5 sessions. We will discuss a personalized frequency that fits your specific needs.
Your Healing Timeline
Every healing journey is unique, but lasting change usually happens in layers. While we encourage you to experience a single session to see how it feels, it is important to understand that one visit is rarely enough to fully resolve deep-seated tensions or long-standing imbalances.
-
The Initial Phase: Most clients find that a series of 4 to 8 sessions provides the most significant and sustainable results.
-
Ongoing Support: Once the primary restrictions are cleared, many clients transition to "maintenance" care, spacing out sessions as needed to support their nervous system.
-
Our Ultimate Goal: I want to help you feel better and move with ease so that you can reach a point where you no longer need me! I am here to support you through the process, not just manage the symptoms.
